Job Description
We are looking for a talented Account Executive to join Flexential as a Data Center Specialist, Sales. In this role, you will be pivotal in presenting and selling our colocation products and services to potential customers within designated data centers. You will play a crucial part in the company's strategic initiatives by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, negotiating deals, and contributing market insights.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Promote and sell colocation services to new customers.
- Generate leads and drive sales within targeted data center regions.
- Maintain sales activity to meet forecasted quotas.
- Coordinate the sales process from lead generation to closure.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to enhance the sales process.
- Utilize Salesforce.com for sales process management.
- Manage the contracting process for Master Service Agreements.
- Conduct meetings with prospects and develop relationships with partners.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing sales processes with senior and departmental staff.
- Successful track record in team selling with Subject Matter Experts.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and relevant software.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Compensation
Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $85,000 (Actual range varies based on experience and location).
Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
