Job Description

The Child Care Team Lead (CCTL) at VASA Fitness is responsible for building and developing a high-performing team to care for and safeguard the well-being of the children of members and guests during their visits to the facility’s KidCare. This includes creating a welcoming environment, ensuring the safety of mini-members, delivering fun and entertaining programs, and maintaining KidCare cleanliness.

Operational Responsibilities

• Support Staffing and Training: Plan and conduct interviews, schedule training for new Child Care Attendants, and create a welcoming environment for candidates and new hires.
• Uphold KidCare Standards: Ensure a welcoming environment, manage operating costs, and ensure engaging programming for mini-members.
• Ensure Safety of Mini-Members: Check-in and monitor mini-members, maintain cleanliness, and promptly fix equipment issues.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Build and Develop a High-Performing Team: Establish a culture that adheres to core values, attract, hire, coach, and maximize team engagement.
• Coach and Support Ongoing Team Member Development: Lead by example, build trust, provide coaching, and offer input and feedback to the General Manager in succession planning conversations.
