Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Litigation to manage a diverse portfolio of litigation matters including antitrust, securities, patent, commercial, and employment disputes. This position involves strategic and day-to-day management of litigation matters, interaction with internal stakeholders, participation in internal investigations, and oversight of discovery processes. The role requires a seasoned litigator with strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and manage a variety of litigation matters in the U.S. and globally.
- Interact with company leadership and provide legal counsel.
- Lead internal investigations and provide support for compliance.
- Oversee discovery processes and manage external counsel.
- Stay informed about changes in laws affecting the business.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant litigation experience.
- Experience in U.S. state and federal courts, preferably with pharmaceutical/life sciences companies.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to build relationships, work independently, and collaborate across the organization.
- Willingness to travel periodically within the U.S. and Europe.
