Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I role at Flexential is vital for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers. This position requires a strong understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC management applications. The role involves timely issue resolution, adherence to data center policies, and support for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7x365 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential systems.
• Follow data center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the Data Center.
• Assist with physical and logical installations of services.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Preferably 1 year of IT Support experience.
• Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP or MCSA desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work aloft and in cold environments.
• Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.

Note: Salary range for this position is $19.33-$22.67 per hour, subject to experience and qualifications.
