Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is an integral role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve and escalate facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism and conduct in data center duties.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document using the ticketing system.
• Follow support and data center policies and procedures.
• Provide local access and escort for vendors.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for exceptional customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Self-starter with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Preferably 1 year of IT support experience.
• AA, BS, or High School Diploma.
• Network +, Security +, or CCNA desired.
• Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Work in cold temperatures and lift heavy objects.
• Skills to install cabling.
