Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

Flexential is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team. This 24x7x365 role is responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to our customers and resources. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. You will represent Flexential both professionally and technically, troubleshoot technical issues, and adhere to support and data center policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve Facility and customer issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using the ticketing system.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center procedures.
• Provide local access for vendors and carriers.
• Perform physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Assist the Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer service.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Preferably 1 year of IT Support experience.
• Relevant certifications, such as Network+ or CCNA, are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
• Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.

Base Pay Range: ($19.33 - $22.67) per hour.
