Energy Development Manager, Grid Analytics

Join Amazon Data Services, Inc. as an Energy Development Manager, Grid Analytics in a full-time role. As part of the AWS Energy Team, you will contribute to the clean energy sector by leading transmission planning activities, identifying sites for renewable energy projects, and ensuring power supply for AWS data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and influence transmission planning models to align with Amazon's growth plans.
• Aggregate and manage datasets to support business decision-making on renewable energy projects.
• Collaborate internally and externally to identify and address transmission constraints.
• Conduct power flow transmission studies for non-wires alternative solutions.
• Manage technical due diligence assessments for power connection options.
• Facilitate meetings, manage consultants, and support project documentation.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies.
• Experience in infrastructure builds.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Transmission planning and Generation Interconnection studies.
