Job Description
We are looking for a talented Field Solutions Engineer II with expertise in Hybrid/Cloud and Managed Services (CMS) to join our team at Flexential. As a Field Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in pursuing new CMS deals by providing pre-sales technical support to our National Sales Team. You will design and implement cloud and dedicated architectures, ensuring that our solutions meet the performance and budgetary requirements of our clients. In addition, you will collaborate closely with partners and customers to deliver impactful solutions in a consultative manner.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Develop and nurture regional partners through technical enablement.
- Architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions for new customers, including Colocation/Hybrid configurations.
- Provide technical drawings and designs to support sales teams nationally.
- Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends.
- Create comprehensive documentation for successful implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent.
- 6-9 years of relevant industry experience in sales engineering.
- Experience in designing solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical proficiency with cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and security best practices.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
