Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Highway Design Technician to join our driven team at Professional Engineering Consultants. As a key member of the transportation design projects, you will play a crucial role in enhancing public safety and contributing to community development through high-quality infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create highway concept exhibits, working drawings, and final construction plans.
• Collaborate with Team Lead, Project Managers, and Engineers to complete drafting tasks efficiently.
• Organize project information effectively and maintain drafting standards.
• Handle multiple project assignments and review project submittals for compliance.

Requirements

• Training or certification in CAD software with an understanding of CAD production tools.
• Familiarity with Microstation/Bentley design products and DOT formats is advantageous.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret plans and work towards meeting project deadlines.
