Job Description
The Lead Childcare Specialist at VASA Fitness is responsible for building and developing a high-performing team to care for and safeguard the well-being of the children of our members and guests during their visits to our facility. This involves ensuring that everyone who enters KidCare feels welcome, managing the safety of our mini-members, and delivering fun and entertaining programs while maintaining a clean and well-maintained KidCare area.
Operational Responsibilities
- Forecast upcoming staffing needs and conduct interviews to ensure the right candidates are hired for open positions.
- Facilitate training for new Child Care Attendants and create a welcoming environment for candidates and new hires.
- Ensure a welcoming environment by greeting members and mini-members by name and ensuring positive interactions with the KidCare team.
- Drive policy execution and manage operating costs to ensure that mini-members can participate in fun, entertaining programming.
- Ensure flawless playbook execution and the safety of mini-members through proper procedures and hourly safety scans.
- Maintain a sparkling clean and well-maintained KidCare center.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Establish a culture within the team that adheres to VASA Fitness' core values and drives accountability.
- Attract, hire, coach, and maximize the engagement of the operations team at the club.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members, demonstrating enthusiasm for VASA values and building trust and strong relationships.
