Lead Grocery Store Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Grocery Store Designer to join our team at Associated Wholesale Grocers in the Greater Chicago Area. As the nation's largest cooperative food wholesaler, AWG serves over 1,100 member companies and 3,400 locations, with $12.3 billion in sales annually.

Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate grocery store projects in the Kansas City Division.
• Advise on floor plans and equipment needs for members' stores.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineers on project drawings.
• Manage construction, equipment installation, and sales coordination.
• Travel within Kansas and Missouri as needed.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of retail grocery industry and CAD software.
• Experience in construction management and presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• 2-5 years of grocery store design and construction experience preferred.
