Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Madison County Jail in Madison, Florida. As part of GENESYS Health Alliance, a leading healthcare management firm, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to detainees in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer routine and emergency medical care to detainees.
- Treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Monitor and administer medications as prescribed by medical providers.
- Carry out nursing care plans under supervision.
- Ensure the safety and security of medications and the treatment environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
- Preferably experience in correctional nursing.
