Maintenance Technician at POAH Communities
POAH Communities, a community development organization committed to preserving affordable housing, is looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors by conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Complete make-ready repairs and services
- Assist in keeping the grounds clean and neat
- Adhere to regulations and initiate corrective actions as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance
- High School diploma or GED required, HVAC certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License and automobile insurance
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and on-call duties
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
