Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Infection Control to join our team at Kettering Health Network. As the Infection Control Officer, you will lead the implementation of policies and procedures to prevent disease transmission in our hospital setting while ensuring the delivery of safe and timely care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infection control policies in accordance with national guidelines.
• Provide expertise and support to the Infection Prevention and Control Team.
• Conduct assessments of facility policies compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate training on infection control protocols for hospital staff.
• Recommend and monitor sterilization, disinfection, and decontamination processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Active Ohio Registered Nursing Licensure or National licensure in relevant clinical area.
• Certified in Infection Prevention and Control or commitment to obtain certification.
