Quick Care Med P L is offering an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant to join our patient-oriented, fast-paced medical practice in Dunnellon. We provide comprehensive medical care for adult and pediatric patients, focusing on delivering outstanding patient experiences.

Job Purpose

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing stellar customer service, assisting with patient intake, triage, and direct care under general supervision. Candidates with equivalent clinical training will be considered, and training opportunities are available for enthusiastic individuals who are a good fit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and relationships.
• Stay updated on office policies and procedures.
• Obtain patient histories, update charts, and communicate normal test results to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and exam rooms.
• Perform routine medical procedures such as EKGs, immunizations, ear lavage, sterile dressing changes, nebulizer treatments, and suture removals.
• Administer immunizations and therapeutic injections.
• Ensure exam room supplies are stocked adequately.
• Follow safety, environmental, and infectious control protocols.
• Additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
