Job Description
We are looking for a Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist to join our team at Flexential. In this role, you will work closely with the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer to oversee, plan, and supervise the installation of security systems, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with vendors, managing installation projects from start to finish, and troubleshooting physical security technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure servers, workstations, and panels.
- Act as the main contact for installations and related issues.
- Supervise and control security system installations.
- Procure equipment needed for installations.
- Prepare progress and expense reports.
- Evaluate system performance and maintain efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry standards and advancements.
- Manage worksites for construction and remodeling projects.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Design, implement, and maintain physical security systems.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate with various professionals.
- Experience in supervising vendors and projects.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and security technologies.
- Understanding of networking and system schematics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Change and Incident Management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASIS Certification.
- Experience in programming and maintaining access control systems.
- Certifications in relevant IT hardware/software.
- Knowledge of network design and security software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods, walk or stand, and lift weights.
- Some travel may be required.
Compensation
Estimated salary range: $86,000 - $96,000 per year.
Discretionary annual bonus based on performance factors.
