Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join TOYOTI1 on a full-time basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures in order to minimize downtime effectively. Your role will involve reviewing and analyzing data, using various technologies for data collection, submitting work orders, and collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failure by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners for scheduled repairs.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend shutdown of equipment for immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime and attend relevant meetings.
• Contribute to plans for improving and extending equipment lifespan.
• Stay current in predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance OR 5 years of experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience considered; Pdm certifications a plus.
• Strong understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
