Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis, working day shifts. As part of our dynamic healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with precision and care, following patient identification verification and physician orders.
- Acquire detailed patient histories and accurately document them in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures through continuous monitoring.
- Conduct radiographic procedures using appropriate methods tailored to each patient's physical abilities.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant parties and departments.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control protocols.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families prior to exams.
- Collaborate with colleagues, assist in training new hires, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program is required.
- Current CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification upon hire is required.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT certification within 180 days of hire is required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA upon hire is required.
