General Summary
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation, and adhering to radiation protection principles.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with patient verification.
- Acquire accurate patient history and monitor patient safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for procedures.
- Effectively communicate with medical staff and peers.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to safety standards.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Contribute to department operations and assist in training new hires.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-R and CRT-BLS certifications required.
