Job Description
Meade District Hospital is currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. We have the following open positions:
1. Full-Time Night Shift RN (7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
2. Full-Time Day Shift RN (7:00 am to 7:00 pm)
3. Full-Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Pre/Post Op and the Med/Surg Floor)
4. Full-Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Cardiac Rehab and the Med/Surg Floor)
Job Title: Registered Staff Nurse
Department: Nursing
Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer
Position Summary:
Provide quality patient care, serve as a charge nurse, and empower the nursing team while upholding nursing standards and processes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school & current Kansas license
- Continuing education & certifications in ACLS, PALS, & CPR
Responsibilities:
- Maintain departmental standards & procedures
- Evaluate patient care outcomes & adjust nursing processes
- Document patient records accurately & ensure ongoing care post-discharge
- Supervise team members and assist in direct patient care
