Job Description
CareerStaff Unlimited, a leader in healthcare staffing services, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with psychiatric experience to join our team in Kerrville, TX. In this role, you will provide quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team, and ensure patient safety and well-being. If you have at least one year of inpatient psych experience, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, and a valid State RN License, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational protocols.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate patient care.
- Instruct patients and families, and assist with discharge planning.
Job Requirements
- Previous psych experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
