Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Children's Specialty Center team at The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a Staff Nurse II, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care during care transitions.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Prepare patients for continuing care post-treatment.
- Possibility to assume operational charge as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Vermont or compact state.
- BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within specified timeframe.
- Experience in pediatric hematology and oncology is desirable.
- CPHON certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
