Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. As the Senior Development Officer, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Development, to cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of funders, including corporate, foundation, government, and individual donors. Your role will involve researching new prospects, developing fundraising strategies, and supporting fundraising needs across various programs.
Responsibilities
- Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
- Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming for funders.
- Build customized fundraising strategies for new and renewable funders.
- Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
- Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
- Write and submit proposals, reports, and other donor materials.
- Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
- Track record of securing 6-figure gifts.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Up to 15% travel required.
- Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry a plus.
