Senior Engineering Manager - Civil

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join Moody and Associates, Inc.'s expanding Civil Engineering practice. In this role, you will lead and manage various projects, including land development plans for commercial, institutional, municipal, and energy clients. The position involves overseeing technical activities, developing proposals, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in alignment with high project management standards.
• Lead the development of proposals, qualifications, and project plans.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams for successful product launches.
• Mentor and manage staff at all levels while overseeing project progress and budget.
• Obtain project permitting and ensure compliance with pre-construction requirements.
• Communicate project status, key features, and design issues effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license in PA, additional state licensures beneficial.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience, including staff management.
• Expertise in site development; experience in oil and gas, water, wastewater, geotechnical, or environmental engineering desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and other engineering programs.
• Strong collaborative skills, work ethic, and commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to travel between different Moody offices and project locations as needed.
