Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about cryptography, open source, and building secure software solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, prioritizing, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate and maintain globally distributed servers and oversee customer interactions.
- Develop secure foundational libraries using C and Rust to enhance AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language and leading design or architecture of systems.
- Prior mentorship or leadership role in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
