We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and user-friendly encryption tools and libraries used by AWS customers globally. Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Design and deliver secure and reliable cryptographic tools using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and engineers to support internal and external customers' cryptographic needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in leading the design and architecture of systems.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language.
- Previous mentorship or team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of coding standards, testing, and operations.
