Job Description
We are looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, offering assistance to physicians and ensuring high-quality patient-centered care throughout the process. Responsibilities include IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, documentation, vascular access management, and patient/family education.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support patients during invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support and quality care.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Ensure equipment quality assurance and maintain radiation safety standards.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited radiography/cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
