Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the Aldi team. As an essential part of our warehouse operations, your role involves efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse meets safety and appearance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
  • Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
  • Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
  • Inspect product quality and safety concerns.
  • Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow safety guidelines.
  • Operate equipment according to safety protocols.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
  • Efficiently organize and execute tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
  • Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
