Job Description

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) is seeking a highly motivated Accountant who is a CPA candidate to join their team. The role involves working with the general ledger, account reconciliations, and assisting departments. Responsibilities include developing and modifying accounting procedures, analyzing fiscal reports, and following governmental accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in developing, reviewing, and modifying accounting procedures.

  • Exercising independent judgment and discretion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA candidate with up to two years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
