Job Description

Cedar Band Travel Plaza is looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager to oversee inventory control, staff management, and customer service, ensuring high performance and exceptional service levels. This role involves coordinating daily workflows, conducting performance evaluations, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining store operations in adherence with company policies and standards. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in optimizing productivity and efficiency within the store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage store inventory and merchandise.
  • Oversee staff members and ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and address complaints effectively.
  • Maintain awareness of product knowledge and promotions.
  • Participate in merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and store operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and support a team effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with gas station or convenience store operations.
  • Knowledge of the G-site POS system.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service as an Assistant Manager.
  • College degree or related field experience preferred.
