Assistant Produce Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Produce Manager to join Kennie's Markets Inc. As the Assistant Produce Manager, you will work closely with the Produce Manager and store management to ensure the smooth running of the Produce Department. Your responsibilities will include maintaining quality products, providing exceptional customer service, and overseeing department operations in the absence of the Produce Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing supply, payroll expenses, inventory, and waste.
• Accounting procedures: assist with invoices, transfers, and inventories.
• Create fruit baskets and party trays.
• Price and package items accurately.
• Order and price products correctly to ensure sufficient quantities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and implement correct pricing strategies.
