Auxiliary Operator Trainee

We are looking for an Auxiliary Operator Trainee to join Constellation Energy, the nation's largest producer of clean, carbon-free energy. In this role, you will be trained to perform operational activities, monitor and control nuclear station equipment, and assist in plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor nuclear and turbine generator systems.
• Start, stop, control, and adjust equipment as required for plant operations.
• Respond to plant indicators and alarms following established procedures.
• Participate in station fire brigade and emergency response activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 2 years of Power Plant experience.
• Nuclear Power Plant experience is preferred.
• Candidates must pass the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) Examination.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Starting salary: $41.20/hour
