Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Seadog Captain for our operation in Chicago, IL. As a Captain on our commercial vessel, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and satisfaction of our guests while maintaining profitability. Responsibilities
- Execute cruises as a captain, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and guest satisfaction.
- Manage operations team, including crew recruitment, training, and scheduling.
- Oversee guest service to resolve issues and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Handle administration tasks such as payroll, safety documentation, and vessel maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 100-ton license with a satisfactory record.
- Minimum of five years of marine experience, with at least two years as a captain.
- Proficiency in ship's systems and Coast Guard rules and procedures.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
