Job Description

As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in helping adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities live well and thrive. Your work will involve supporting individuals with various tasks, including personal hygiene, behavioral challenges, and developmental goals, while also helping them be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Assist individuals in achieving developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help individuals be part of the community and engage in their favorite activities.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
