Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Center-Based Behavior Technicians at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in making a real difference in the lives of children with autism. Working under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

This role requires passion, patience, compassion, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided, even if you lack prior experience. You must be physically capable of engaging with children, which includes standing, walking, sitting, bending, lifting, and occasionally carrying objects or children weighing up to 50 pounds. Your efforts at the end of each day will leave you with the satisfaction of knowing you have positively impacted a child's life and their family's. Pay Range: $16 - $18 per hour

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and a strong team player
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and clear Tuberculosis test
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment background check
  • Physical ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
