Center - Based Behavior Technician - Part Time

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will involve using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing interfering behaviors.

If you are passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential, possess qualities of patience, compassion, and teamwork, we welcome you to our dedicated team. Comprehensive training will be provided, even if you lack prior experience. The role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, and lifting children or objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and effective in teamwork
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Capable of various physical movements and lifting during work
