Certified Medical Assistant- Wound Care

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Wound Care to join Restore First Health Duluth. As part of our team, you will work under the direction of the Practice Manager and Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care and support primarily in home residences, skilled nursing facilities, and clinics. You will assist in wound procedures, treatments, tests, and follow-up care, ensuring accurate record-keeping and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and assist in wound procedures.
• Coordinate wound care visits and manage wound supplies.
• Operate company vehicle for travel to patient locations.
• Collaborate with the team in scheduling and care coordination.

Requirements

• High School diploma and Certified Medical Assistant program completion.
• Two years of medical assistant experience, preferably in wound care.
• Current BCLS certification and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects and drive for extended periods.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and office equipment operation.
