Construction Project Director

Job Description

The Construction Project Director at BluSky is responsible for managing and closing new business opportunities in restoration and construction projects. Working closely with property owners, managers, and internal teams, the Project Director develops cost estimates and ensures customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Sales - Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals by negotiating contracts and converting opportunities into sales.
• Revenue - Oversee revenue production in adherence with goals.
• Profit Margins - Develop and take ownership of project budgets.
• AR & Collections - Monitor accounts receivable and collections.
• Manage Near Term Opportunities - Work directly with clients to close leads and maintain communication.
• Business Development Activity - Schedule and attend business development meetings to drive sales.
• Estimating Proficiency - Accurately estimate project costs and margins.
• Customer Satisfaction - Ensure consistent communication and high customer satisfaction.
• Working with Internal Teams - Coordinate with mitigation, reconstruction, business development, and project accounting teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing/business development and sales experience in restoration or construction industry.
• Construction estimating and/or large-loss experience.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and other estimating software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management and financial acumen.
• OSHA, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.

Travel

• Minimal travel required.

Compensation

Base salary: $70000 - $100000/year plus bonus plan, 401(k) match, health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
