DEPUTY SHERIFF - PATROL

Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a dedicated Deputy Sheriff for our Patrol division at Clear Creek County, Colorado. The Deputy Sheriff will be responsible for enforcing federal, state, and county laws to protect life, health, safety, welfare, and property. This role entails responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, making arrests, providing public assistance, and maintaining order within the community.

Responsibilities

• Enforce County laws, State, and Federal Statutes.
• Conduct investigations, make arrests, and prepare detailed reports.
• Perform traffic enforcement, routine patrols, and special duties as assigned.
• Operate specialized law enforcement equipment.
• Assist with various non-law enforcement matters such as medical aid and search and rescue operations.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Colorado POST Certified with at least two years of law enforcement experience.
• Proficient in communication, problem-solving, and handling stressful situations.
• Valid Colorado driver's license, CPR certification, and the ability to pass required examinations.
