Health Unit Coordinator - Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are hiring a Health Unit Coordinator - Licensed Practical Nurse to join Genesis Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services. In this role, you will support the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care services to patients/residents. Reporting to the Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for transcribing medication and treatment orders, coordinating care activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Genesis Pharmacy Program.

Position Highlights

• Transcribe and process health practitioner orders under nurse supervision.
• Implement and oversee the Genesis Pharmacy Program.
• Collaborate with medical staff to achieve Pharmacy Program objectives.
• Assist in scheduling and tracking healthcare provider appointments.
• Provide support and acclimate patients, visitors, and staff to nursing center policies.
