Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Representative to join the team at Porter Medical Center. As the Human Resources Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and programs within the organization. Your responsibilities will include handling HR inquiries, assisting employees with various forms, overseeing employee files, and coordinating special projects within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and triage HR phone calls, directing staff appropriately.
  • Assist new employees with onboarding processes like I-9 documents and employee badges.
  • Maintain and manage employee files in Workday.
  • Develop and enforce procedures related to HR workflow.
  • Complete employment verifications promptly.
  • Coordinate special events and functions related to HR programs.
  • Produce reports and statistical data using HRIS systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in HR or healthcare operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; experience with HRIS systems like Workday preferred.
  • SHRM-CP designation is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information
