Job Description
Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences, a Five Star luxury wellness community in South East Florida, is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hotel's power plant and related equipment. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the air conditioning system, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, and monitoring and inspecting HVAC systems as per manufacturer's guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, including boilers, chillers, and electrical systems.
- Test and record readings of cooling tower systems.
- Maintain and test Life Safety systems to comply with local fire codes.
- Emergency repairs to plumbing and building structures when necessary.
- Monitoring and inspecting HVAC equipment routinely.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; one year of hotel or related field experience preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, Lock out Tag out procedures, and local fire codes.
- Ability to work in extreme temperature ranges and high noise levels.
- Trade school or college coursework in a related field helpful.
