Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance team member to join La Quinta Boston - Somerville. As part of our team, you will assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Perform various maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, touch-up paint, minor furniture repairs, etc.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment including ice machines, refrigerators, HVAC systems, and more.
- Perform plumbing and laundry equipment repairs.
- Respond to alarms promptly and report emergency situations to the Front Desk.
- Complete any other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensure in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record as per property requirements.
