Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Restore First Health Duluth. As a Medical Assistant of Mobile Wounds, you will work under the direction of the Practice Manager and Nurse Practitioner to provide care for patients primarily in their home residence, skilled nursing facilities, and the clinic. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for wound procedures, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position involves extensive travel and driving, as wound patients are primarily seen outside of the clinic.

Job Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Two years of medical assistant experience, preferably in wound care.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.

Responsibilities

Your roles and functions will include wound care visits, wound travel and professional driving, managing wound supplies, coordinating scheduling, and working closely with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.

Requirements
