Job Description

The Member Experience Specialist (MES) at VASA Fitness plays a crucial role in delivering an enjoyable and purposeful experience to members and guests during every visit. This position entails warmly welcoming members, establishing personal connections, promptly addressing concerns, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness of the club. Additionally, the MES team is responsible for creating a positive first impression, selling memberships, facilitating upgrades, and conducting tours of the gym.


  • Demonstrate a genuine and friendly attitude when interacting with guests and members.
  • Welcome guests and members warmly with a smile, eye contact, and a courteous tone.
  • Anticipate guest and member needs and provide clear direction, accurate information, and support through tools and technology.
  • Be well-versed in membership plans, pricing, amenities, add-on options, and class formats.
  • Conduct club tours following the Guest to Member Journey, sell memberships, assist members in upgrading, book personal training consultations (PTC), and enroll members in personal training.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest and member experience by sharing member feedback with leadership and collaborating with the team to implement improvement ideas.
  • Adhere to VASA's operational standards by executing daily responsibilities to high standards, including following guest and member check-in processes and procedures, completing daily cleaning and hourly club walks, restocking merchandise, and processing REVIVE sales.


  • Competitive hourly base rate of $15 plus commission eligibility for memberships and personal training sales.
