Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients, in adherence to the highest standards of practice and safety protocols. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care following the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organizational guidelines.
  • Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and support recovery.
  • Maintain clinical competency and uphold best practices in patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Active RN licensure in Maryland or a Compact State.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazmat certification within one year of hire.
  • Emergency Nursing Certification is a plus.
