Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our dedicated team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD at Grace Medical Center. This full-time position requires a commitment to both day and night shifts, including weekends with varied hours. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients following Maryland Nurse Practice Act guidelines and organization protocols. You will collaborate with staff and physicians to ensure quality care delivery while maintaining clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat certification within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center boasts a 17,000 square feet modern design featuring state-of-the-art technology. With 29 private treatment rooms, a providers' station, negative pressure rooms for infectious diseases, and a behavioral health treatment pod, this department is designed for optimal patient care. The department also houses a CT Scanner for early diagnosis of critical conditions.
