NURSING GRADUATE

Job Description

We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room at Grace Medical Center involves day and night shifts with varying hours, requiring a weekend commitment. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients in accordance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, organizational protocols, and standards of practice. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, maintaining clinical competency, and ensuring a safe patient care environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care.
• BLS certification required, ACLS within 6 months of hire, PALS and Hazmat within one year.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
• Completion of orientation per policy/procedures.

Unit Details

The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features a modern design, advanced technology, and amenities for emergency care. With 29 private treatment rooms, including negative pressure rooms, the department provides personalized care in a safe environment. The facility also offers a behavioral health treatment pod and houses a CT Scanner for early diagnosis of critical conditions.
