Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Pediatric ED & Urgent Care FT Night RN to join our team at Denver Health. In this role, you will be an essential part of the Pediatric Emergency Department and Urgent Care, providing high-quality care to pediatric patients. Being the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in the Denver Metro Area, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities to identify health or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Monitor and report symptoms, changes in patient conditions, and vital signs.
- Modify patient treatment and care plans based on responses and conditions.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate and improve patient care.
- Administer nursing care, medications, and reassessments.
- Promote a positive patient experience and provide health education.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Required.
- One year of experience in a direct patient care setting preferred.
- Valid BLS and RN licenses from AHA and DORA required.
- Proficiency in medical equipment usage and patient care administration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with EPIC documentation preferred.
