Product Development Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join Dometic Marine, where you will be responsible for developing mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions for the marine market while ensuring compliance with industry standards. As part of the team, you will work on sustaining engineering for Limerick design-controlled products.

Main Responsibilities

• Work with design engineering to develop cost-effective and manufacturable solutions.
• Design tools, fixtures, and machines for fabrication and assembly of mechanical products.
• Develop process flow maps, conduct studies, and prepare changes in plant layout and investments.
• Estimate and validate production capacity, develop work instructions, and implement process changes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Preferably experienced in the marine or vehicle controls markets.
• Solid skills in solid modeling, 2-D modeling, geometric dimensioning, and manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in rapid prototyping, electro-mechanical sensors, and project management.
